Clear coat
When applied to an underlying paint, a clear coat forms a protective layer. This makes it part of a two-coat system. It protects against weather conditions, chemicals and mechanical stresses. The clear coat is pigment-free and therefore transparent. To make the clear coat look 100% pure and transparent, rather than “milky”, it is important that the product does not have any air inclusions or micro air bubbles.
For this purpose, VMA-Getzmann offers the DISPERMAT® for laboratory and industrial applications — vacuum-based solutions for mixing liquid and solid components. They also allow UV curing to be avoided.
