Wood coatings and wood stains
The application field of wood coatings has expanded significantly in recent years. There are modern wood coatings that have an antibacterial effect without using chemical substances. There are also shock- and scratch-resistant wood coatings which also protect against cleaning agents and moisture. Flame-resistant coatings can be also ensured without compromising the natural character of wood with its grain.
Most of these paints are based on a combination of conventional wood coating materials and nanotechnology. Dispersion, grinding and stirring devices are an essential component in the development and production of wood coatings.
To solve these tasks, VMA-Getzmann with its DISPERMAT® range offers machines for laboratory and production applications. Pigment agglomerates can be ground into the desired particle size of well below 1 μm.
